Hydrogen Connects | Austria-Japan Hydrogen Business Matching

Welcome to

Hydrogen Connects

The business matching event for Austrian and Japanese hydrogen technologies

Overview

Austria should become the number 1 hydrogen nation, announced Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in June 2019. "Hydrogen can become an important contributor to achieve climate neutrality," said Environment Minister Leonore Gewessler (Greens) in July 2020. The hydrogen strategy of the Austrian government is currently being finalized and will be published soon.

Aussenwirtschaft Austria organized two successful trips to Japan on the subject of hydrogen technologies in the first quarters of 2020 and (online) 2021. With "Hydrogen Connect" we now take the next step towards establishing concrete business contacts.

Why participate?

  • Find and meet new partners, customers & suppliers
  • Discover new products & services
  • Get Information about latest's trends
  • Initiate and arrange promising pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings online
  • Meet new contacts in a time and cost-efficient way

What to expect?

Keynote speakers from Austrian and Japan will provide an overview over the state of research and industrial implementation of hydrogen technology in both countries.

Afterwards, there will be a two days’ opportunity to make virtual contact with the participating companies in B2B meetings and to hold concrete negotiations. In addition, the Austrian business delegate in Tokyo, Advantage Austria Tokyo and the general director of JETRO in Vienna are available to provide support if required.
